Privacy policy
RoamRig Campers (ABN 57 323 090 537) respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect information you give us — your name, email, phone, delivery address and order/quote details — so we can respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and fulfil orders. When you use our payload/GVM check, we collect the vehicle details you enter (make, model, year, cab) to estimate your payload. When you save or email a build, or submit an enquiry, we may create a customer account for you and email you a link to set a password.
Marketing & your choices
We only send marketing emails if you've opted in. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time from your account or by contacting us — we'll action it promptly. Transactional messages about your order or enquiry aren't marketing and are sent regardless. Some of our emails include open/click tracking so we can see whether a message was received and useful; you can avoid this by not enabling images or not clicking links.
Payments
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
How we use it
- To provide quotes, process orders and arrange delivery.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
- To send marketing where you've opted in (and to measure it).
- To meet our legal, tax and consumer-law obligations.
Our sales team
We work with authorised sales representatives who help customers choose the right camper. If you enquire, your contact details and enquiry may be handled by a representative through our secure internal portal, solely to assist you with your purchase. They're bound by our privacy obligations.
Sharing & overseas recipients
We share information only with service providers who help us operate — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and freight — and where required by law. We don't sell your data. Because our campers are imported and some of our providers operate outside Australia, your information may be disclosed to or stored by recipients overseas; we take reasonable steps to ensure it's handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet our legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction & complaints
You can request access to or correction of your information by emailing sales@roamrigcampers.com.au. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll work to resolve it; if you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
